About
Zenon (Metamoksha) creates immersive fantasy worlds where electronic music, performance art, spatial installation, and rave converge. Rooted in Southeast Asian futurisms and world-building as an art practice, their work transforms galleries, theatres, clubs, warehouses, and unconventional spaces into sensorial worlds shaped through sound, scenography, performance, and ritual.
Known for their strong conceptual vision and collaborative instinct, Zenon brings artists across disciplines together to translate ambitious ideas into cohesive, immersive experiences—moving fluidly between cultural institutions, underground queer nightlife, and commissioned spaces.
Zenon’s practice grew out of Bussy Temple, the renowned queer rave and art collective in Singapore that they founded and lead as creative director. Their work has continued to redefine what a rave space and “institutional art” can be in Southeast Asia. In 2023, Zenon and Bussy Temple were awarded a year-long residency at T:>Works Singapore, with their work also featured by Mixmag Asia and Mixcloud, and Zenon’s role as a film producer presented by NOWNESS Asia.
